First Walk

Just found these super sweet pics of taking Maylee on her first walk. It was the Tuesday after Christmas and it was a seasonbly warm day. So I took little Miss (who was all of three weeks)on a short walk around the block due to the lack of energy on my part(I was still recovering from my c-section)

She was SO little

Finger Food

Now that we are approaching the one year old mark, We decided to slowly start introducing real food

So far we have tried carrots, apples, bananas, beans, dried toast, cheese, club cracker and last friday(10/16) spaghetti noodles with some of her carrot tomato baby food!

At first she didn't want to touch it but once I gave her a little taste she was ALL over it!

Now we are in the adventures of eating big girl food and mommy cleaning up all the big girl's food!

Gaston Park

While we were out in Flower Mound this past weekend we ended up being only a few miles away from my great-grandfather farm and land(or where it use to be I should say). When they sold his land over ten years ago they established a park in remembrance of him and his place. So we stopped by Gaston Park and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon God had provided for us

I think its safe to say she enjoyed the swings!

It was fun to see the park and take Miss Maylee to it. It was great to see the place in such nice shape and has been well taken care of. We definitely made memories that day that I will treasure for a lifetime!

10 Months

My sweet sugar pie is 10 months! 10 months! Crazy, huh?!

We have become friends with pooh bear again. He was allowed to say with her during the pictures today!Ha!

Sweet smiles and precious giggles fill are days around here

We also like to move and go whenever we are awake, no sitting still around these parts.

Miss Maylee is such a pure joy and has such a sweet disposition!

And as much as she tires her mommy out we would not change one single thing!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

So this past Saturday the Day's and the three of us headed out to our very first pumpkin patch out in Flower Mound. It was a beautiful weekend and one of the first sunny ones we have had in awhile!

Waiting to head in. Maylee enjoyed being the welcoming committee. She's wait and watch for someone to give her eye contact and as soon as someone did she flash the biggest grin! She was having too much fun!*BEWARE- many pic's ahead of smiley sweet pumpkin heads*

She was so excited she could sit down on the pumpkin and then stand up by her self.
So she kept bouncing up and down!

Better and daddy's home

Maylee is feeling back to her sweet self and staying busy and not sitting still, the norm for the Simpson household! Ha!

Clint had been gone for over a week and a half on buisness and has made it safetly home, Yay!We are all thrilled to have him back! God bless those single parents out there. I will be praying more for them and all the hard work they put into their children on a daily basis.

Now on to fun pic's; no post would be complete with out them!
