Last Wednesday we celebrated Thanksgiving in the 3's class!

a day at the zoo

We took a family trip to the zoo two weeks ago. A day to spend together as family and to be together. 

This sweet little girl has been a huge help in healing this mama's heart

We did a lot of things we never did at the zoo before. Feed the birds, ride the carousel and the train.

We truly did have fun!

Another lovely fall day we were blessed to enjoy

being outside walking and taking in the beauty of a Texas fall was one of the ways we grieved over our loss. Just talking threw the pain, praying, and looking forward to the future

that Monday (11/5) was a gorgeous day we were blessed with as we walked threw the pain

No Words

There's really no words to describe what our family has been threw the past few weeks. From such excitement to pure heart wrenching sadness in such a quick swirl of events has been truly breath taking and has left me in shock. We found out two weeks ago today that our 2nd blessing would not be joining us here on this side of heaven. The tears that continue to flow is still the process of grieving our loss and in the same breath we are filled with joy to know our baby is fully healed and in the arms of our Savior. Two weeks later I can say I do have peace as I still travel the path of healing not only physically but emotionally. This whole nightmare has been a bittersweet reminder that this world is temporal and that there is now one more thing to be anxious for when we get to heaven.

Family Pumpkin Patch

We made our yearly trek to flower mound to the pumpkin patch.

And this super big girl had to much fun on all the inflatables!

Halloween 2013

We had a fast and furious Halloween this year. 

Being on a school day made for a super long party filled day!

Sadly I wish we had more pics but this is what I got from the day

 In the evening we had a wardrobe change to become the wonderful Annie

 We went out to the local festival And she had a blast as always

 Later we made our way to dinner with the Day crew to our usual joint to wrap the evening!

First Field Trip
