Birthday Party day

We had a full Saturday of party play

First we went to my co-teacher sweet little boy 2nd birthday. When I say she out did herself, I mean this party was simply ADORABLE! Super Sesame Street theme was all over the place and the kids were having a blast play. To top it off she made this amazing Elmo cake. So fun!

Then we went to celebrate David for his 18th! Crazy he 18 already! When oh when did that happen??

We took a drive out to a yummy fun place

then back home for games

and just enjoying sweet family time

After school one evening Mae and her daddy went out to play then they decided to go for a walk and to check out where a new play ground is being built near out little neighborhood

They sat and enjoyed the beauty of a Texas sunset.
One we take advantage of way to much.

They came home with such sweet memories made together on their fun little walk

And on a side note, they had to head home shortly after this do to hearing Coyotes in the distance. Mae got a bit nervous and had to come home and see her mommy :) Once she got home we heard many tales about what she heard, looked up some pictures of what a coyote looks like and proceeded to talk about it for a solid 30mins. She also practice saying Co-YO-tes to get it just so.. So it was an educational walk as much as anything with this cutie tater tot!

Blessed by our school and awesome teachers this year(& every year actually :)

We've had a busy past few weeks
Playing and watching our neighbor friends
Having a few pj mornings

Playing inside during cold winter nights

getting fun surprise birthday gifts in the mail

a little bit of jumping fun

and of course the weekly shopping trip

and my dad surprised me with a new phone for my birthday! Yay!

having to much fun playing with it!

and that's just a tad taste of what we've been up too these past few weeks!

Busy birthday week

I was blessed this birthday with beautiful weather. Always a pleasure for a winter birthday girl who should have been born in the summer! And after celebrating the big 30 snowed in, it was so nice to get out!We meet Kato at a local joint were she surprised with a super yummy Red velvet cake!
So so good!

We also had a celebration at school and with my side of the family and with friends.

So I left the week with a very full tummy and a full heart. Blessed. Simple and true.
Ready for the new year and ready to embrace this new decade :)
