Long weekend.........

This weekend held a lot of first for us. Clint went out of town for business. This is his first trip away since Maylee been born. We knew it be a hard trip but it was something he needed to do and will be beneficial for the future.But Maylee put a whole nother spin on the weekend, She has come down with her very first cold. She has been running high fever for the past three days and its just so hard to see her feeling so miserable. We went to the doctor yesterday to check everything out and we are blessed to say its not the flue or pnemonia or something truly scary. Just a bad cold which she runs a very high fever with. Bless her heart she is a tropper and is doing really well under the circumstances.

But I am SO grateful for Pain medication. Once it gets in her system and her temp drops, She feels SO much better and acts almost back to normal!

But sadly when it wears off before its time for more, we don't feel good and get lots of baths too cool her off and we snuggle and try to sleep it off
