One Silly Little Girl

So Miss Maylee decided in her bath last night to mix it up a bit. She walked those little toes up the side of the tub and rested her head to the side. Kick back and taking it easy, Such a silly girl!

Where the Bluebonnets grow

Last Sunday (4/19) We went out to do the Texas tradition! I was so excited to take our little sweet pie out to take her picture in the bluebonnets. I always wanted to take these spring pics of my baby. So it was to much fun to finialy do so!

Last Sunday(Easter night 4/16) Miss Maylee had her first solid food. Good ole organic whole wheat rice cereal This was the look we received!Ha!

And then we decided we wanted to help mama...

....and most of it came right back out......

All in all it was a fun new experience!

Easter Recap

So its been a busy week around here but here is a quick update in pictures of our fun filled Easter weekend.

First we started off the weekend with Clint's side of the family for lunch and a fun egg hunt.

First Art Project

So on our blog I have to share all my baby 1st (I am a proud first time mom, so bare with me) Yesterday we were sent home from school with Maylee's first art project. Miss Alice is so good with them and does the sweetest things with the babies. We are so blessed to have such wonderful baby room teachers!
Okay and now I'll leave you with some fun spring pics we took the other night. Were trying out some of Maylee's fun spring dresses and seeing what she will wear this Easter weekend!

One year ago......

We found out a year ago today that our family was about to grow! What a year it has been.Its amazing how much has changed in my life and how fast time has gone. We now have our sweet little Maylee here and she truly a blessing to us each and every day.
Speaking of Miss Maylee, Today we went for her 4month check-upShe weighs in at 16.1lbs and 25in long. Poor baby didn't have a clue what was coming around the corner! But she was a champ and did really good for the shots. She only cried for a minute.And we left with a sleepy smile on our face : ) What a sweet doll baby!

Lessons Learned in 4 Months

1. Maylee loves malls and overgrown rabbits
2. A table for 3 in the evenings is now my favorite new thing
3. 6.5 hours of continuous little girl sleep = confused yet happy wife
4. Car seat carrying should be an event in the Strongman Competition
5. New itty bitty friends are beautiful! (Welcome to the world Rylie Poor!)
6. Daddy/Daughter Date Night has turned into a yelling match.....and I lose every time.
7. Maylee is a morning person. Rissa and I are wondering if she's truly our daughter?
8. Random smiley face pictures in the middle of the day keep Daddy's spirit up!
9. Maylee makes Wal-Mart trips sound fun and cute! Makes me wish I was there.
10. Maylee hates the Clark Kent in me

So were almost to the point of sitting up by ourself(by the way were is the time going? And why is my baby getting so big already?) She still needs some help balancing but she has almost got it. Thought I'd share some fun pic of her being all smiles and sitting up like a big girl now!
