Road trip Day 4~the graduation

We got in to NYC very very late Tuesday night. Like 1:00am late. We got to bed as fast as we possibly could and work up to a quick morning of getting ready and hitting the subway to get to this place by 10:30

We saw this friend while we were leaving after the ceremony.

We rode the subway back into the city to get some lunch. this little one fell fast asleep while we rode and took herself a nice little nap all threw lunch. Which we had some amazing Cuban food. Never had such before and it was fun to try something new!

Now here were a lack of pictures come in due to the crazy amount of rain that came to town. Not really ideal for site seeing and walking the city streets. To say we got wet would be a nice understatement. And one of our only survivors is a nice black umbrella! But we braved the water, waddle on threw the city.

Then the rain let up for a bit and we ventured onto

And then she decided we were done for the day

So we made our way back to Kate's apartment to change into some dry clothes and take a break.

We had a late dinner at a diner. Got some yummy warm breakfast food and enjoy the rest and company of family while wrapping up the busy day. Kate and Dave try to teach Mae how to cheer for the Yankees and silly things like that. Fun times and that was just day one in the big apple!
